Hello!
I am very excited to work with each and every one of you in a subject I am so fond of! Math provides an opportunity to think creatively and problem solve through challenging concepts. Math allows us to understand the world around us. It is an intricate puzzle that we will begin to piece together as a team. This year I am teaching; AB Calculus, BC Calculus, Honors Algebra 2, and Multivariable Calculus. I earned my B.S. in Mathematics and Secondary Education with a minor in Psychology from UMaine and my MSEd in Teacher Leadership at USM. I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee for a local Portland team as well as hiking and rock climbing. You may see me in multiple roles at KHS including, Gifted and Talented, Math Team, and Ultimate Frisbee. |
Late Work Policy for the 2022-23 School Year:
Homework will not be accepted late.
Purpose: Homework prepares you for the following class and allows you to participate in the class and learn the new
content. If homework is not completed the class cannot run efficiently as the necessary preparation was not
completed.
How homework is graded: The grade is based on effort. To receive full credit all the problems must be attempted. You
must at least write down the problem and/or draw any diagrams or graphs necessary and make
a reasonable attempt so that I know that you made an effort to solve the problem.
